A 17-year-old girl is in serious condition at the Doctor Negrín Hospital in Gran Canaria after being hit by a car in Playa Honda last Monday.
Although it had not been revealed until now, the event took place at the intersection of the industrial area around 9:30 p.m., when a vehicle coming from Arrecife ran over the young woman, causing her serious multiple injuries.
Due to the severity of the injuries, the girl had to be transferred to Gran Canaria on Tuesday, being admitted to the Doctor Negrín Hospital.
The driver, who is around sixty years old, tested negative for drugs and alcohol in the test carried out by the Local Police of San Bartolomé.
However, the report has been sent to the courts.
