A 62-year-old hiker was rescued this Thursday after suffering a fall in the Corona Volcano in Haría.
The accident took place at around 12:00 hours, at which time the CECOES was alerted. The Emergency Consortium and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service have traveled to the scene.
The man has suffered trauma to one leg after falling on the eastern slope of the mountain. The firefighters placed him on a stretcher and transferred him to the ambulance where he was treated by the health personnel. After stabilizing him, he was evacuated to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
