Following the celebration of the 'Summer Traveling Cinema' in Lanzarote during the months of July and August, "more than two thousand people have enjoyed the second edition of the summer cinema," reports the organizing association, Tenique Cultural. "A record attendance that confirms the social interest generated by this project," it adds.
A summer cinema that has traveled through the municipalities of Haría, Arrecife, San Bartolomé, Tinajo, Teguise and Tías. "This edition has added a total of twelve titles for all audiences that have been screened in especially beautiful and unique places on the island. All the films have been selected for their entertaining and quality character," says Tebique Cultural.
"This is confirmed by the attendance figures: more than two thousand people from six municipalities." "With two sessions in each of them, and with always free admission," this project proves to be already "a summer leisure alternative for all audiences, combining entertainment and cinematographic quality," it states. With prior presentation by those responsible for Tenique and freshly made popcorn, it has allowed "to remember the experience of the old open-air cinemas, but with a distinctive touch that makes it a fresh and current project."

According to the president of the cultural association, Javier Fuentes Feo, “after two years, the 'Summer Traveling Cinema' has earned its own space in the summer nights of Lanzarote. At this moment, we can say that it is a summer cinema of national reference,” he points out.
"There are very few projects of this type in which a prior presentation is carried out to analyze the film that is being screened.” He has also pointed out that “for Tenique Cultural, the attendance figures are important, firstly, because they are a very positive response to the work of the association, and secondly, because they encourage us to continue growing and improving. In fact, "since the projector of the last session in Tías was turned off, that is our goal for 2024."
