The second stop of the Traveling Summer Cinema arrives this weekend in Arrecife, in the Plaza de la Harinera, a wonderful location for all those who come to enjoy two great films outdoors and for free, an initiative of the Tenique Cultural association.
Next Friday at 9:00 p.m. the film to be screened is 'Memento' by Christopher Nolan. The film tells how Leonard, an insurance investigator, suffers a blow with irreversible consequences on his memory while trying to save his wife from being murdered. His last memory is that tragic event. To investigate and avenge his wife, Leonard relies on an instant camera and notes tattooed on his body, which are his last resources to unravel the truth.
Next Saturday, in the same square and also at 9:00 p.m., the chosen film is 'Gloria' by Sebastián Leilo. Gloria's story is that of a 58-year-old woman who immerses herself in the world of adult singles parties to try to alleviate the loneliness she has suffered for some time, although all she finds is a series of empty adventures. However, everything changes when her life is disturbed when she meets Rodolfo, a 65-year-old man who has recently separated and becomes obsessed with her.
