Tickets sales for the César Manrique musical exceed 80% in advance sales, and two more performances are opened for Saturday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m., the Cabildo announces.
For the premiere in Lanzarote of this show, "the Lanzarote actor and dancer Raúl Martín" has joined the team. He has just finished his tour of the musical "La Jaula de las locas" with Angel Llácer, they announce. Also from Lanzarote will be the boy who plays César as a child, "Mario Oses", who has been selected in a casting held in recent weeks among young actors from the island.
The Los Buches Cultural Association also joins the production, appearing in one of the scenes of the montage and being "an icon linked to Manrique's work," they state.
The artistic team is moving to the island "a total of 42 people" between artists and technicians, in addition to the staff of local companies Tecnosound Canarias and Hi Visión, and the production and stage management assistants who are also professionals from Lanzarote, they recall.
