Last Saturday, February 24th, the Hwasan sports club was represented, obtaining excellent results in the ITTAF National Taekwondo Open, held at the Municipal Sports Center of the city of Almassera in Valencia.
The good work and effort made during this season meant that the Lanzarote participants achieved good results in the competition. José Manuel Rodríguez took the gold medal, Nino Espino and Richard Jorge both obtained silver medals in the Veterans category and the bronze medal in the Junior category went to Yannick Jorge.
The recently created Club Taekwondo Hwasan, located at Calle Juan Negrín number six in Arrecife, congratulated the Lanzarote representatives for having left the bar very high. In addition, he encouraged them to continue practicing this modality of Korean martial arts.
