The Argentine journalist and writer Ernesto Ekaizer will present his new book Operation Checkmate: How they finished off the prosecutor in the Villarejo case next Tuesday, July 11 at the Municipal Archive of Arrecife. A talk that will take place at 7:00 p.m. and will be led by the Lanzarote journalist Alberto Acosta.
A meeting in which they will talk about the most notorious corruption plots in our country. Like that of the former commissioner José Manuel Villarejo and his controversial case. This book deals in detail with the reason for the controversial recordings of the former commissioner to personalities from politics, business, the police and justice. Among others, how prosecutor Stampa was removed for political reasons and, in addition, the ins and outs of several cases such as: the Tándem, Operation Kitchen, the Iberdrola case, BBVA, Operation Catalonia, etc.
