Pitingo conquered the numerous audience that gathered last Friday night in the theater hall of the Atlántida cinema. The singer from Huelva is on tour presenting his latest work "Soul Buleria y Más", an album in which Pitingo takes and retakes his flamenco soul with soul wings, thus managing to cheer up the bodies of his followers.

Antonio Manuel Álvarez Vélez, son of a gypsy mother and a fisherman father, belongs to a saga of great singing tradition, so from a very young age he began singing songs by the greatest flamenco artists, such as Camarón, Manolo Caracol, Enrique Morente and many other myths of flamenco singing. But he wanted to contribute something more to music and, without forgetting his roots, he recorded his first album fusing flamenco and soul. This album ended up becoming a great commercial success and, in addition, was sponsored by one of the greats like Enrique Morente.

From that moment on, the doors of halls, theaters and squares opened for Pitingo, taking to each of his concerts the best compositions of the greats of soul, those he has always admired such as Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder. To all this genre he adds the purest of flamenco with which he awoke to life; without forgetting a good fandango.

Pitingo appeared in Lanzarote with a trio format: guitar, percussion and voice, showing an educated, affectionate person with a very good staging, managing to connect with the public very easily. And it is that when he gets on stage he gives it his all and in the theater hall of the Atlántida cinema he managed to get everyone to sing and clap with him. And some left their seats to dance. Without a doubt, songs like Only God Knows, A puro Dolor, Nights in White Satin, Stand By Me, among many others, made everyone Souleriando enjoy with Pitingo and, as some of the attendees said, a night to repeat.
