This first week of December, as a prelude to Christmas, laughter and good humor will be in Argana Alta and Valterra with the programming of 'Neighborhoods with Nights of Humor'.

"This initiative, designed to promote neighborhood reunion in the squares of the neighborhoods, and offer free outdoor entertainment, is enabling the recovery of public spaces in the neighborhoods, in their parks and squares, for participation and neighborhood unity," explains Councilor Óscar López.

On November 8, the performance of the comedian Pily Soy Yo was scheduled in Plaza de Altavista. And now, this cycle of neighborhoods with Nights of Humor" will offer two free performances this week with these two shows:

December 4: Abián Díaz in the Plaza del Pabellón de Argana

December 5: Omayra Cazorla in the Plaza de Valterra

Both shows will begin at 8:00 p.m., and admission will be free for all attendees, within the special program of events that the Arrecife City Council is promoting this year for the 225th anniversary of the founding of the municipality.

Omayra Cazorla is well known in the Canary Islands for her unique style of comedy and her ability to connect with the public through everyday topics treated with freshness and acidic humor, and promises to fill the square of the seaside neighborhood of Valterra with laughter.

For his part, Abián Díaz, master of the monologue and improvisation, will delight the attendees of Argana with his sharp wit and charisma, on Wednesday night in the square next to the Argana Sports Hall, whose interior is under construction for its upcoming reopening.

The initiative 'Neighborhoods with Nights of Humor' is part of a plan promoted by the Municipal Government of Arrecife, led by Mayor Yonathan de León, to revitalize the neighborhoods and promote an atmosphere of coexistence and community enjoyment.

The Arrecife City Council invites all residents to enjoy these nights of humor under the stars, where good weather accompanies them these days, in a close and friendly environment and outdoors, which symbolize the squares.
