Lanzarote Civil Action asks the Arrecife City Council to recover the Book Fair. From Lanzarote Civil Action, a neighborhood organization committed to the promotion of culture and education on the island, "we ask the Arrecife City Council not to miss the opportunity to recover the Book Fair in our city," they specified.

The Book Fair has been a prominent event on the cultural calendar of the capital of Lanzarote for years, providing a space for the local literary community and providing citizens with the opportunity to discover the latest literary developments. "Its absence for another year would leave a significant void in the cultural life of the capital," they recalled.

"From our neighborhood platform, we urge the City Council to actively work to recover this event so loved by citizens, and the Book Fair not only promotes a love of reading, but also boosts the local economy and strengthens the cultural fabric of our city," they stressed. "We want to state that rapid and effective measures must be taken to restore this important cultural tradition, especially when other municipalities on the island celebrate it," they highlighted.

In addition, the association is clear about the request they are making to the City Council. "We ask our public representatives in Arrecife to demonstrate their commitment to the promotion of reading and culture by doing everything possible to ensure that the Book Fair returns to our city as soon as possible." "From Lanzarote Civil Action, we are committed to collaborating with local authorities and other interested parties to make this important cultural event a reality and thus restore such a significant event for our municipality," they concluded.
