The Arrecife City Council has postponed the Cuarteto Imprevisto concert scheduled for this Saturday at the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture due to the heat pre-alert situation decreed since last Tuesday in Lanzarote. The concert is part of the Noon Festival, scheduled in the October cultural activities program.
Promoted by the production company Vector de Ideas, Noon includes small-format chamber concerts of classical music and so-called modern music, which are distinguished by being held on Saturdays and always starting at noon.
In its Arrecife autumn season that began on September 2, the Festival has included performances by guitarist Alexander Álvarez, the Garachico Chamber Choir, the Salas Duo, the Mökoi Duo, and pianist Ernesto Alemán.
In addition, the Koncon Duo concert should have been held, but it was also postponed to November 25 when the Arrecife City Council decreed three days of mourning for the death of the former mayor of Arrecife, José María Espino.
