Norwegian will premiere and reopen three routes that will connect the Canary Islands and Norway from next October until Easter 2023, as announced this Monday by the airline in a statement.

These are the Gran Canaria and Sandefjord routes, which will have a weekly frequency every Sunday from Sunday, October 30, Tenerife South and Stavanger, with the same frequency every Saturday from Saturday, November 5, and Tenerife South and Bergen, which will operate every Saturday from November 5.

It should be noted that the route from Tenerife South to Stavanger is an absolute novelty, while the routes from Gran Canaria to Sandefjord and from Tenerife South to Bergen will reopen this fall after a long break of more than two years, since the pandemic broke out in early 2020.

These will be seasonal routes that are part of the winter program that starts in the fall of 2022 and will be available until the Easter holidays of 2023.

"Tenerife and Gran Canaria are destinations that occupy a prominent place on the list of places that Norwegians want to visit in the winter season and, therefore, from Norwegian we continue to expand the offers from cities in Norway with direct routes to these popular destinations for the winter season 2022/23. The Stavanger to Tenerife route is an absolute novelty for us and we hope it will be well received,” said Magnus Thome Maursund, Executive Vice President of Networks, Pricing and Planning at Norwegian.
