The Lanzarote Bartenders Association celebrated the "XL Long Drink Cocktail Competition", an event that took place at the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife on Wednesday afternoon.
The president of the entity, Julio Romero, present at the event, collaborated with the board of directors of the Association to ensure that the celebration was a success, an objective that was more than achieved.
This XL Edition had a total of 15 participants and all of them demonstrated in the development of the test, the skill and professionalism when preparing the cocktails and despite the nerves and the pressure of the attentive gaze of the jury, family and the public.
The contest began with the "Beer Pull", and a "surprising exhibition" by master Anthony Serra and his son Alan, only four years old, who conquered the public with spectacular acrobatics.
After the test, the awards ceremony began with the "Bar Managers" category. The first classified was José Manuel Agraso Goitia, the second, Ricardo A. Pérez Parra and the third, Javier García de la Hoz.
In the "Young Bartender" category, Paul E. Chirica was the first classified, along with the second, Angela Cabrera Ruiz and the third, Sebastián Ortiz Sarria. All the winners received their corresponding trophy presented by the president of the Bartenders Association Wenceslao Gil, colleagues from the management team and the president of the Real Casino Club Náutico, Julio Romero.
The national competition will be held on the island of Tenerife, where the Lanzarote Bartenders Association will be represented by the top finishers.
