Lanzarote adds eight consecutive months growing in Social Security affiliations

So far this year, the island has gone from 63,317 affiliations in January to 68,195 in September and continues to break records

If in January of this year there were 63,317 affiliates to Social Security in Lanzarote, in September there were 68,195 people. Therefore, there are 4,878 more people from Lanzarote, which represents a growth of more than 7% so far this year.

The island has accumulated eight consecutive months of growth and four consecutive months breaking records, since in June of this year the historical maximum was exceeded for the first time. The record in June was exceeded again in July, August and September.

By municipalities, Arrecife accounts for the majority of new affiliations so far this year, with a total of 2,469. In September, the total number of contributors in the capital was 27,749.

Next is Yaiza, which has 637 more affiliations than it had in January. There are already 7,614 contributors in the municipality.

The third place is occupied by Tías, where so far this year there are 592 more people affiliated to Social Security. The September figure for Tías is 8,691 contributors.

Teguise and San Bartolomé have added 539 and 405 more affiliates respectively to Social Security this year. The total figure in September for Teguise is 10,353 affiliates, while for San Bartolomé it is 8,642 people.

Tinajo, for its part, has added 148 contributors so far this year, so that its September affiliations reached 3,019 people. Meanwhile, Haría currently has 88 more affiliations than at the beginning of the year, which in September meant a total of 2,127 contributors to Social Security in the municipality.
