Navantia Seanergies, Navantia's commercial brand to promote offshore wind energy and hydrogen, joins the Canary Islands Maritime Cluster (CMC) as a partner, created in 2008 as a meeting and dialogue place for all agents related to the sea. It is an innovative business group that aims to promote the development and international competitiveness of the Canary Islands maritime sector.

Joining the Cluster represents an implicit support to the Canary Islands business network linked to offshore wind and green energies, the company highlighted this Friday in a statement.

The association agreement was presented by Javier Herrador, director of Navantia Seanergies, and Elba Bueno, manager of the CMC, and the president of the Canary Islands Federation of Port Companies, José Juan Ramos, was also present at the event.

Elba Bueno values this important incorporation as a reinforcement to the Cluster's strategy and work in the offshore wind energy sector.

Javier Herrador states that "Canary Islands is a strategic region for the development of wind farm projects." In this regard, he highlights that the Canary Islands Maritime Cluster is doing an exceptional job promoting the Canary Islands supply chain in the offshore industry and helping the dialogue between actors, suppliers and developers.
