Lanzarote, Tenerife and La Palma exceed the regional average in April; Gran Canaria is five points below; Fuerteventura, six; and El Hierro and La Gomera have occupancy rates clearly below the aforementioned reference.

The average stay of tourists who stayed in Canary Islands tourist apartments in April was 9.3 nights. Compared to March, the average stay in Canary Islands apartments decreased slightly (0.3 nights).

La Palma (13.85) had the highest average stay in tourist apartments in the Archipelago in April (almost 5 nights above the regional reference), Fuerteventura (9.83) and Gran Canaria (9.76) also exceed the Archipelago average.
