Josep Mª Serra has been appointed General Manager of the 2 hotels of the [Hesperia->http://www.hesperia.es/] chain in Lanzarote, the Hesperia Playa Dorada 4*, in Playa Blanca and the Hesperia Lanzarote 5*, located in Puerto Calero.
Josep Maria Serra, 39 years old, studied Hospitality and Tourism at the Sant Pol de Mar Tourism School, and has already held the position of Director in 3 other establishments of the chain, the Hotel Hesperia Córdoba, Hotel Hesperia Sant Just and Hotel Hesperia Sarriá, the latter in Barcelona.
For nearly 4 years he has been the General Manager of the Hotel Hesperia Lanzarote 5* and has now been appointed General Manager of the two hotel establishments that Hesperia has on the island of volcanoes.
For its part, the Hesperia Playa Dorada will be managed by Carlos Salomón, who until now held the position of Director of Operations of the Hotel Hesperia Tower in Barcelona. The Management of the Hesperia Lanzarote will be assumed by [Oscar->http://oscars-awards.com] Pubill, who until a few days ago was the director of the Hesperia Isla de la Toja in Pontevedra.
The Hesperia chain has two other hotels in the Canary Islands, the Hesperia Troya in Tenerife and the Hesperia Bristol Playa in Fuerteventura. Globally, it has 50 establishments in Spain, the United Kingdom and Venezuela. Its latest opening has been the Hesperia Ramblas hotel in Barcelona.
