The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands opens the call to apply for aid for the regeneration and revitalization of industrial areas.
This new call has an initial budget of 1,466,000 euros, destined to provide infrastructure and quality services to industrial areas, as well as for advanced management and greater planning of actions, the Ministry reports in a statement.
The General Directorate of Industry has modified the regulatory bases of this call for aid for this year, so that it focuses on promoting the material execution of the regeneration works of infrastructure, equipment and facilities of existing industrial areas, as well as the urbanization of new areas.
The aim is to encourage the preparation of technical plans or projects that facilitate the subsequent material execution of these actions, with the consequent promotion of employment. It also proposes the introduction of aspects that contribute to the implementation in the economic sectors of the measures contemplated in national and regional legislation on equality between women and men.
There are three lines of action that can be subsidized, which are distributed in: Investment in equipment, facilities and infrastructure in the industrial space, Revitalization of the existing industrial space and Planning and organization of the industrial space.
Each of them is endowed with a maximum subsidy per project and beneficiary entity of 300,000 euros, 30,000 euros and 200,000 euros, respectively.
