The Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport has installed for the first time in its terminals a space for pets that is located in arrivals of Terminal T1.
The area, of about 50 square meters of surface, which is landscaped and also functions as a dog park, has an area for activities, sandbox, water fountain, bag dispenser, trash can and a bench.
The objective is that both passengers and their pets have the best possible experience before or after their trip.
The area conditioned for pets is the first of a series of areas enabled for pets that will be installed progressively in the terminals of the Airport, where another outdoor point has been projected, in arrivals of Terminal T4, and three interior spaces in the boarding area of Terminals T2, T4 and T4S.
