Aena Aeropuertos has awarded the company Kubi Wireless S.L. the tender for the implementation in 28 airports of the network, including Lanzarote, free Internet access via WiFi for the first fifteen minutes of connection.
In this way, Aena Aeropuertos points out that "it makes available to its users an Internet access offer similar to that of airports in the European environment and adds a new service to travelers with a wide network of WiFi access points."
The duration of the concession to Kubi Wireless S.L is two years (with the possibility of extension).
In addition to free access for the first 15 minutes, the service will offer a "premium" paid service with better time and access speed performance.
