Orvecame, one of the most important dealerships in the Canary Islands, has presented the Opel Ampera vehicle, within the framework of the Arrecife City Environmental Exhibition, which opened this Wednesday in the Ramírez Cerdá Park. It is a type of electric car, with which you can drive cleanly and ecologically.
This car has been exhibited this Thursday, along with other hybrid and electric vehicles. In total, about 30 vehicles are participating in the environmental exhibition, a total of eleven companies and about 15 brands, as well as another seven companies dedicated to renewable energies.
The inauguration of this fair took place this Wednesday, with the presence of the first deputy mayor of Arrecife, José Montelongo, the Councilor for Tourism and the Environment, Rafael Juan González, the president of the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, and the president of the Lanzarote Chamber of Commerce, José Torres. Also present was the island director of the General State Administration, María Dolores Luzardo, as well as various representatives of the island's political, business and social class.
They all agreed in their speeches on the need to join efforts so that the Arrecife marina can be used and enjoyed by all citizens in a totally sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
