The SY Valquest has been the first megayacht to be stranded by the Marina Lanzarote travel lift. This boat, 41 meters long and 228 tons, was lifted under the watchful supervision of the Calero Marinas shipyard manager, Sergio Morales, and his team of professionals, in a maneuver that was very satisfactory for everyone. The boat is making a technical stop before starting its journey to the Caribbean.

These days, it is very common to find large boats in some of the two marinas that choose Lanzarote to stop on their route to the Caribbean, due to the convenience of the destination in terms of climate and facilities and services available. This is the case of the Valquest, which despite being its first stay on the island, the captain knew Puerto Calero and for this reason decided to choose the new Arrecife marina and on the other hand the MY Kamalaya of 55 meters in length that has just docked in Puerto Calero and plans to make a two-week stopover in Lanzarote.

During this Christmas in Marina Lanzarote we will be able to see impressive boats such as those of the Panerai Transat Classique, authentic naval jewels, known as the "ladies of the Sea" have chosen the island as the starting point for their transatlantic regatta to Martinique.

This is a clear reward for the effort of Calero Marinas, which has firmly committed to this industry and has positioned the island as a mandatory stop for superyachts and now also for their repair and technical assistance.
