The director of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the CEOE, the main Spanish employers' association, Inmaculada Benito, and the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, will join the celebration of the 5th edition of the Global South Forum on November 15. The president of AC Hoteles by Marriott, Antonio Catalán, and the president of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, who will be in charge of opening the day, will attend the event.

The Global South Forum, which resumes its activity after the pandemic, offers an unbeatable ecosystem of knowledge and relationships within the Canary Islands and the archipelago, giving a global vision of the tourism sector, combining it with insular and archipelagic actions. All this, from the perspective of a business leader such as Antonio Catalán, through the point of view of the main employers' association in Spain, with Inmaculada Benito, to learn about the actions and challenges facing the island with President Oswaldo Betancort, who intervenes as president of the Lanzarote Tourism Promotion Society, to the expected opening of President Clavijo and the challenges of tourism in the Canary Islands.
