Deeply, the Surf and Bodyboard brand, which sells exclusively at Sport Zone, continues to advance its strategy of internationalizing its brand.
The Portuguese brand is growing surprisingly in recent years and proof of this are its latest signings: despite having a solid team with names like Juan Guedes, Thomas Valente, Camilla Kemp, Salvador Couto and Zé Maria Ribeiro, Vasco Ribeiro became the international face of the brand; but his work was reinforced by the beautiful Spanish QS competitor, Lucía Martiño, one of the best promises of European surfing.
But it didn't stop there, recently it has incorporated another super talent into its team, the Canary Islander Jonathan González, from Los Cristianos, Tenerife. This surfer has had an entire career sponsored by leading brands such as Quiksilver and Hurley, and as the director of the Deeply team, Ricardo Aragao, expresses, "there were long months of negotiation, since Jonathan had a strong sponsorship, but fortunately our project has won".
Jonathan González is part of the strong generation of professional surfers in Europe, which included names like Tiago Pires, Miky Picon, Eneko Acero, Patrick Beven and many others and has been regularly considered by the media as the most talented of all.
Competitively, the victories in the Pro Junior Capbreton, at 17 years old, and also the Qualifying Series career where he was about to qualify for the CT, reaching the semifinals in Sunset Beach, are noteworthy.
You can find the Deeply brand in Spain exclusively at the Sport Zone chain of sports stores, being a benchmark brand in European surfing and bodyboarding. Its products are designed by surfers and have a rich range in wetsuits, boards and accessories.
