This Saturday, October 26th at 12:00, "Caprichos de Haría" was born, a promising project led by Judith Socas Vega and Isabel Arcas Perdomo. It represents a revolutionary and careful concept that will focus its products on clothing, jewelry, and objects. In addition, customers will be treated to coffee or wine while they shop, while discovering everything the store offers.

This new and exciting initiative is located in Haría on Calle San Juan, number 6, and will be open from Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The idea is also to open by appointment with customers via the Internet or mobile phones outside of hours.

Many of the designs are original, created by Judith Socas Vega. They highlight natural silks enriched with rosettes made by the artisans of the municipality. The dream of this artist is to create an industry that rescues the rosette from oblivion and at the same time is the economic engine of the north, that extends and increases its demand in the Canary Islands, generating new artisans who work in this field. With this motto, the designer takes the rosettes from the past and renews them. On the day of the inauguration, she revealed new particularities of this work.

Quality and good sewing are part of the essence of "Capricho de Haría," which has the expert hand of a seamstress from the island and excellent quality raw materials for the elaboration of this first collection. Other clothing brands will be accommodated in the workshop; all the pieces are very special, so that the person who acquires them feels all this care when they display them.

Another surprise that this center will have is the exclusive for the Canary Islands of the jewelry works of the designer Sonia de la Riva, a creator who will show jewelry made of different materials, works that are small sculptures that combine perfectly with the needs and expectations of the women of Lanzarote.

They also do not leave behind the small whims that turn houses into homes, so Christmas, given the proximity of the dates, will have a corner in the store. But the range is wider, and in addition to other more everyday objects. They also include advice in the process of decorating any corner of a home.

Its owners promise to actively monitor through Facebook and Instagram, placing in these media all the news and curiosities with which the day to day surprises us. They also have a website www.caprichodeharía.com. Those interested can request information, ask questions, or simply browse to see the whims through this website.

The dream that these entrepreneurs seek is to create a textile industry, with activity that generates new businesses, in which crafts and local and authentic raw materials are the star of any initiative.
