As happened with the 'playoffs' to LaLiga Santander due to the Fuenlabrada case, those for promotion to the Second Division B have also been affected after confirming some positives of Covid-19, in this case in the Club Deportivo Marino, from the municipality of Arona (Tenerife). In the second tests carried out, already in Madrid, the Tenerife team learned that three of the members of their expedition have coronavirus.

Both the duel that the Tenerife team was to play against Linares -this Sunday-, as well as the Lealtad-Alcoyano this Saturday, have been suspended. The Additional Promotion Phase from the Third Division to the bronze category will not be played, at least for the moment.

The coach of CD Marino, Quico de Diego, has assured that the Tenerife team is not "to blame for anything", after it became known that three players of the team tested positive for coronavirus in the test prior to the match of the promotion phase to the Second Division B.

The Canary team was to play this Sunday in the City of Football of Las Rozas (Madrid) to Linares and, for that reason, the match has been suspended.
