The Canary Islands adds this Friday a total of 494 new cases of coronavirus. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 104,778 with 4,502 active, of which 39 are admitted to the ICU and 212 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, the death of two people in Gran Canaria has been reported, a 72-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman. Both suffered from previous pathologies and were in hospital admission

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 115.44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 205.01 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 204 cases with a total of 1,920 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 205 more than the previous day and 1,904 active. Lanzarote adds 25 new cases with 180 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 42 new cases, and 398 active. La Palma adds 16 new positives, so it has 79 active. El Hierro does not add new positives, so it has one active case. La Gomera adds two new cases, so its assets are 20.

Until this Friday, a total of 2,426,935 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 9,049 correspond to Thursday.
