Aemet lowers the heat warning to yellow for this Monday in Lanzarote

The temperatures on both islands may still reach 39 degrees locally on this day and 36 on Tuesday

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has lowered the orange warning to yellow for heat for this Monday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. This warning will begin at 11:00 a.m. this day and end at 7:59 p.m.

Temperatures may reach a maximum of 34 degrees, while minimums will be between 26 and 27 degrees. However, it is not ruled out that they may reach 39 degrees locally.

In addition, the haze will continue on the surface with significant concentrations, although the yellow warning for suspended dust will end this Monday at 11:59 a.m. As for the wind, it will blow from the moderate northwest with some occasional strong intervals in the southeast.

Regarding the day of Tuesday, Aemet has also activated the yellow warning for the island from 11:00 a.m., where it specifies that 36 degrees can be reached. Also, the skies will be clear although with cloudy intervals on the north and west coasts. There will be haze. For its part, the wind will blow from the moderate northwest with some occasional strong intervals in the southeast.
