The Canary Islands ended Friday with 2035 accumulated cases of coronavirus, according to the latest data updated at 8:00 p.m. this Friday by the Ministry of Health. Thus, the number of deaths in the islands now rises to 115 since the beginning of this health crisis.
As for confirmed cases, 26 new positives have been registered this Friday, leaving a total accumulated of 2,035. However, just over half are still active, since deaths and also discharges, which continue to increase, must be deducted from that figure.
According to the latest data, another 55 people have already overcome the disease in the Canary Islands, leaving a total of 785 cured patients. Thus, the number of active cases stands at 1,135 in the latest statistics.
