The volcanic monitoring network of the National Geographic Institute (IGN) has recorded a total of 13 earthquakes during the night on the island of La Palma, with magnitudes between 0.6 and 3 degrees.
The largest of the earthquakes, which occurred at 06.56 hours, had a magnitude of 3 and occurred southeast of the municipality of Villa de Mazo, at a depth of 13 kilometers. This event was not felt by the population.
The rest of the earthquakes, half located in Fuencaliente, occurred between 15 and 1 kilometers deep. The last of them, of 2.2, took place at 09.01 hours about 7 kilometers deep and epicenter in the northeast of Fuencaliente.
Also, this Friday a total of 19 earthquakes were recorded in La Palma, five of which recorded magnitudes of 3.2, 3.4 and 3.6 degrees, with intensities of up to III-IV.
