Covid leaves 4 new deaths in the Canary Islands, which adds another 123 infections

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 33.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 71.05 cases.

The Canary Islands has reported 123 new infections in the last day, in addition to four deaths, two women and one man in Tenerife, aged 96, 71 and 72 respectively, and a 76-year-old woman in Gran Canaria. All of them suffered from previous pathologies and remained hospitalized.

Currently the Canary Islands has 4,719 active cases, of which 49 are admitted to the ICU and 244 remain hospitalized on the ward.

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 33.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 71.05 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands increases to 94,002.

By islands, Tenerife adds 45 new cases and has 1,416 active; followed by Gran Canaria with 38 new cases and 2,903 active; Fuerteventura with 29 and 317 active and Lanzarote with 11 with 73 active. The rest of the islands have not added new cases of Covid, with La Palma with 5 active cases, La Gomera three and El Hierro two.
