The ship 'Wadowice II' rescued ten immigrants, one of them deceased, in Canary waters last night, while the Guardamar Talia of Maritime Rescue intercepted two other irregular boats when it was going to meet the merchant ship.
The events occurred around 8:45 p.m. in waters north of the archipelago, when the ship reported that they had a boat with ten immigrants on its side and that it seemed that one of these people was in poor condition, which would be the one who later died, as reported to Europa Press by sources from Maritime Rescue.
Thus, around 10:50 p.m., the rescue of these people by the Guardamar Talia was reported, although the body of the deceased migrant had to remain on board the ship for the removal of the body once it arrived at the port of Las Palmas, which was its planned stop.
In addition, the Maritime Rescue vessel, until rescuing the irregular people rescued by the ship, intercepted two other boats on that journey, one with 22 sub-Saharans and another with 19 Maghrebi, reaching the Arguineguín Dock, in Mogán (Gran Canaria), with all the rescued around 1:00 p.m.
