La Casa de los Arroyo, in the heart of the Avenida Marítima in Arrecife, presents a "deplorable state of neglect." This is assured by Miguel García, a reader who cannot explain why the Arrecife City Council is only painting the abandoned houses of El Charco de San Ginés and is not acting on La Casa de los Arroyo.
According to him, the crystals of the building "are broken" and the varnish of the wood of the facade "has disappeared". "Although, it seems that this house belongs to the Cabildo, a little paint would not hurt", says García.
