Some readers of La Voz denounce the accumulation of garbage in the entrance of their building on Puerto Rico street in the La Vega neighborhood of Arrecife.
The neighbors make it clear that it is "really unbearable to live that way" so "unhealthy", having containers with "garbage on the floor in the entrance of our building", with the consequent "unhealthiness that it entails." Some waste "accumulated day after day" that we see "when leaving the building", they complain. "Not to mention, also, being able to open the windows in the summer," something that is impossible for them, they add.
An "inhuman" situation for which they ask for "an answer." Although the situation has been "sent for months" to the Cleaning Area of the City Council, we are still "without any response," they claim.
"From the City Council portal we have not even had a call," they acknowledge. "Apparently for the City Council it is, but for us it is not a trivial matter," since "we suffer it daily," they point out.
