A reader has contacted La Voz to criticize the lack of taxis in Playa Blanca last Monday. "That night long lines of customers formed waiting at the stops," he says.
According to this resident, there are several problems plaguing the sector in the south. Among them the "lack of taxis, drivers, the poor functioning of the call system due to the lack of capacity of the public system." All of this means that there is "a precarious public service and those who suffer are the residents."
He criticizes the City Council for not issuing taxi driver's license exams and the Cabildo for not addressing the demands of the sector.
