A citizen has contacted La Voz to report that the beach of Playa Quemada has been "a mess" during Holy Week.

This man recorded some images last Thursday of the state of the beach, where he claims that in addition to pieces of palm tree that arrived in past days because "the sea was very bad", there are "bones, tiles and glass" that have been there "since the January flood."

Also, pieces of tiles and even a shoe can be seen in the video. "This is the beach where families with children from the town and tourists go," says this neighbor, who assures that a week before Holy Week he already sent an email to the City Council and a letter to the mayor to report the state of the sand.

However, he assures that it was not until this Monday when they finally started cleaning it, "after a week full of tourists and residents." "How good that they have enjoyed a messy beach and now they clean it for no one. Playa Quemada is deserted," he concludes.
