A fault in a water pipe has caused a house in the town of Ye, in Haría, to be without running water for fifteen days.

This has been reported to La Voz by a neighbor, who points out that her house is on top of the mountain. "There is a break in the pipe in the lower area, and therefore the water rises without pressure and does not reach my house," she explains.

The neighbor maintains that she has contacted Canal Gestión "more than ten times": "They tell me yes, they will fix it, but they don't look for a real solution," she adds, explaining that the repairs they do last a short time, since since there is pressure in the pipes, those repairs "break again." "When they go to collect, they don't check if the water reaches the house or not," the neighbor criticizes.

The neighbor has two 1,000-liter tanks each, and thanks to them, and the fact that she does not usually reside in the house, she has been supplied during all this time. "If there is that fault, lift that whole piece and put it back, but they are not interested in doing it, and in the meantime the neighbors complain," the affected party criticizes.

The neighbor hopes that Canal Gestión will resolve this setback as soon as possible, since she assures that it even affects some vacation homes in the northern town.
