A mother has written to La Voz to criticize the "chaos" that occurs at the "entrance and exit" of the students of the Nieves Toledo school, in Arrecife. "Since the CEIP put into effect the rule of not letting parents enter to drop off their children at school and they changed the exit door, this is total chaos with cars parked on the sidewalk or in the middle of the street," she says.
This forces children to "walk on the road, without any police control, exposing them to any kind of misfortune." This mother assures that before, parents entered to drop off their children at school and waited inside for the timple to sound to go to the classrooms. "Now, they wait in the street," she insists.
Therefore, she asks that measures be taken before "a misfortune" occurs, either with police intervention to control the entrances and exits of students or that the rule be changed and parents be allowed to enter again to drop off and pick up the little ones.
