A reader has contacted La Voz to report that her son and his other classmates still do not have the textbooks assigned that they should be using to study during the course at the IES Altavista.
According to the mother, "they are supposed to use tablets because there are no physical books, but it is December 9th and they still haven't told us which ones to buy because apparently the Ministry of Education is waiting for more electronic loan devices to arrive for students who need them."
"My son has the tablet and even so they don't tell me which books are needed because they are not assigned and I find it outrageous that an entire quarter has already passed and they still don't have them or can use them," she says.
The student's mother continues saying that "everything is based on notes, my son has exams and doesn't have books to study from."
