Goals from Nahomi Márquez and Marie Louis restored confidence to the team, which closed the gap to 5-7 in the 20th minute. After a visitor timeout, Zonzamas equalized the match from seven meters and, shortly after, Paula Fernández sealed the first local lead (9-8, min. 27). However, Sporting La Rioja managed to go into halftime with a minimal lead (9-10)The second half started with a more firm and determined Zonzamas, who managed to turn the score around and open a small gap (12-10, min. 38).
