Zonzamas Plus Car Lanzarote suffered an unexpected defeat in the visit of Soliss BM Pozuelo de CVA (25-24), in a match in which the Manchegas demonstrated a great knowledge of their rival's game and knew how to exploit their weaknesses. Although the Lanzarote team achieved a maximum advantage of four goals in the first half, the match was complicated by the lack of offensive success and a second half in which the attack was disorganized and with little intensity.
The first half was more solid for the island team, with a well-positioned defense and a very safe Ana Martín between the posts. Agustina López had good minutes in attack, becoming the main offensive reference in a section where her team found it difficult to break the local defense.
