CD Unión Sur Yaiza defeated Las Palmas Atlético this Sunday at the Annex to the Gran Canaria Stadium (0-1), in the first leg of the semifinal for promotion to the Second Football Federation.
A goal by Emiliano in the 33rd minute gives the Lanzarote team an advantage for the return match, which will be played next week at the Municipal de Yaiza.
The conejero team, which for the first time since its foundation in 1983 is playing a 'play-off' for promotion to the Second Federation, already won the two regular phase matches against the yellow subsidiary (2-1 and 1-3).
The other tie will be decided on the same island as UD Lanzarote will host CF Panadería Pulido San Mateo, after the one-goal draw recorded this Saturday in Gran Canaria.
