UD Lanzarote did not have a good match this Sunday at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote, falling by the minimum against Unión Sur Yaiza in the match of the ninth day of group XII of the Third Division RFEF. Unlike previous matches, the red team was not at all fine on the field and did not find the formula to hurt the opponent.

The winning goal for Unión Sur Yaiza came in the 89th minute. Alex Yunes took advantage of a defensive fragility to enter on the right side and with a crossed shot from the vertex of the area saved the stretch of goalkeeper Ruymán. In extra time, Lanzarote turned to the opposite goal, not finding the equalizing goal.
Minimal defeat of UD Lanzarote against Unión Sur Yaiza, a stumble that leaves the red team in sixth place in the standings with 13 points. Next day they will travel to Fuerteventura to face CD Herbania, a rival that did not play this week as their match against SD Tenisca was postponed.
