Rayo Majadahonda - Unión Sur Yaiza

Unión Sur Yaiza was able to battle one of the teams fighting to access the promotion phase of the Second Federation, stopping a Rayo Majadahonda
that leaves two important points on the road. The southerners were able to withstand the onslaught of the Madrid team, and have clear chances in the final minutes that were not materialized.

It was Rayo Majadahonda who had the most at stake in this match, and therefore, took control of the game from the start, generating their first approaches through the forays down the wing. Unión Sur Yaiza was more conservative in these first minutes, but came close to a dangerous counterattack through Fabricio, which forced the Madrid team's goalkeeper to intervene, and a shot from Marco Siverio that went high.

As the minutes passed, Rayo Majadahonda closed the gaps in their defense to prevent Unión Sur Yaiza from getting dangerously close. The clearest chance for the
locals came in the final minutes of the first half, with a shot from Hugo Esteban that forced goalkeeper Adrián to go all out to avoid the goal.

Rayo Majadahonda increased their pace in the first minutes of the second half, arriving very easily in the vicinity of the area. A shot by Emi Hernández
was blocked by Adrián and minutes later he made another meritorious intervention to prevent Guti's goal.

Unión Sur Yaiza was able to neutralize the situation and in the final minutes of the match stretched lines in search of the goal that would give them the victory. Nuha had a very clear chance, finding the good intervention of goalkeeper Adri Fernández. Malick could also have made it 0 to 1 with a ghost goal that the referee did not validate.

With the goalless draw, the match came to an end, with Unión Sur Yaiza adding a point at the home of one of the teams fighting to play in the promotion play-off. The southerners say goodbye to the season next Sunday receiving the visit of Conquense, in a match in which neither of the two teams will play for anything.
