The sports management of Unión Deportiva Lanzarote continues to work and in the last hours has closed the signing of a new player. Striker Natanael Barreto will reinforce the attack of the rojillo team, reaching an agreement to join the team until the end of the current season. The new UD Lanzarote player joined the team's training session on Tuesday afternoon and was under the orders of Adolfo Pérez.
Natanael Barreto Díaz, born on September 21, 1991, known footballingly as Nata, is a player who occupies the position of striker. He stands out for his physical size, which allows him to reach the high actions very well, and also for the good work he does with his back to the goal, taking advantage of other teammates of said work.
The new UD Lanzarote player started the season in the ranks of Rayo Cantabria, a team that plays in the Cantabrian group of the Third Division. He played a total of 7 games with Rayo Cantabria, being 436 minutes on the field before rescinding his contract with the team. In the last two months he has been in England in the ranks of Browley, a team with which he only trained and did not make his debut in British football.
Nata has extensive experience in the Canary Islands group of the Third Division. He debuted in the category in the ranks of CD Laguna, to later be part of CD La Victoria and belong to the reserve team of CD Tenerife. In the Canary Islands group of the Third Division he has played 132 games and in which he has scored 40 goals. He has also defended the colors of Fuenlabrada, Real Ávila, CD Mensajero and CD Zamora.
The new UD Lanzarote player joined the team's training session this Tuesday afternoon, being one more in the group of players led by coach Adolfo Pérez. Nata will occupy the federative file that has been free after the departure of Jorge Pulido, and after requesting the sports qualification UD Lanzarote will proceed to process his file so that he can be available for the match on January 8 against Unión Puerto.
