The player from the Tiñosera youth academy, Martha Padrón Olsson, has once again been called up by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation to be part of the Spanish Women's Promises National Team (Generation 2010–2011), in preparation for the camp and a double friendly match with the national team of Portugal that will take place from October 6 to 12 in Íscar, Valladolid.
The team, led by Dolo Martín, will be based at the Youth and Sports Residence of Íscar from Monday, October 6, where they will hold training sessions. They will play three matches, the first against the youth team of Castilla y León, and the rest of the matches against the Portuguese national team in a friendly setting. These matches will be held at the Municipal Pavilion of Íscar.
The youth player from CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen is once again the only Canary Islands player to attend this call from the Spanish Women's Promises National Team.
The president of CB Puerto del Carmen, Félix Montelongo, congratulates “Martha Padrón Olsson, our youth player, for the new call from the national team. Martha's evolution and growth as a player continues to demonstrate the quality of the Tiñosera youth academy. We will never tire of saying it, it is a great pride to see Tiñosera blood in the Spanish national team. We wish her the best of luck and hope she continues to gain experiences on a sporting path that seems long and successful to me. Good luck, Tiñosera”.
