Miguel Gopar "Guelo" will receive a well-deserved tribute on June 27, a day that the cream of Canarian football will not miss.

The recognition of Canarian football to one of the most outstanding leaders in the history of Lanzarote football arises from the initiative of Pedro Cruz, former player of Orientación Marítima and UD Lanzarote. Supported by the Board of Directors and the family of Miguel Gopar, he has managed to commit the best of Canarian football, who have responded massively to the invitation of the organizers of this football event.

With this tribute, the organizers intend to recognize the unique career and initiative of Miguel Gopar, within Lanzarote football, as a player and especially as president and emblematic figure of Orientación Marítima since 1989.
