Sergio Morera from Lanzarote is one of the jewels of the Club Balonmano San José Obrero's youth academy, and his good work is not going unnoticed by the coaches of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation. Along with 40 other players, Sergio Morera will attend the National Summer Camp in mid-July, organized by the Base and Promotion Department of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation. This camp will take place in Soria for five days and will feature training sessions to detect the virtues of these new talents in national handball.
For the second consecutive season, the Base and Promotion Department of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation has set its sights on the Lanzarote youth academy. From July 16th to 21st, Sergio Morera Fuentes from Lanzarote will travel to Soria and participate in the National Summer Camp for five days. 40 players from all over Spain from the 1998/99 generation have been called to this camp. Among those called up, the presence of the Canary Islands players Kilián and Dejan from Rocasa Remudas and Adrino from Gáldar stands out.
Sergio Morera stands out for his versatility in both attack and defense, which makes him a very complete player. In recent days, Sergio Morera has defended the colors of the Canary Islands Team in the XXIV Spanish Championship of Cadet Territorial Teams. A competition that has been taking place in Zamora and in which Sergio Morera, with 46 goals, has been one of the top scorers in the competition. The Canary Islands Team concluded its participation in the fourteenth position of the general classification.
CB San José Obrero, through a press release, wanted to wish Sergio Morera "luck and much strength" in his second participation in the National Summer Camp.
