The future iron men and women shone at Ironkids Lanzarote

More than 200 young athletes between 7 and 17 years old participated in this event held on Friday as a prelude to the XVII Ironman Lanzarote

More than 200 young people between the ages of 7 and 17 participated last Friday in Puerto del Carmen in the seventh edition of 'Ironkids Lanzarote' organized by the Cabildo through the Insular Sports Service with the collaboration of the Tías City Council, and which every year serves as a prelude to the celebration of Ironman Lanzarote.

The event, which was attended by the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés (CC), as well as the island councilors of Sports and Public Works, Patricia Pérez (CC) and Saray Rodríguez (PP), and the Councilor for Sports of the Tías City Council, Francisco Aparicio (PP), consisted of two races and a swimming competition of different distances according to the categories that were Prebenjamín, Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil and Cadete.
