The crew of the “Lanzarote Sailing Paradise” finishes in fifth position in the Spanish Cruiser Championship

The national competition included more than 100 sailors divided into 18 teams from different territorial federations

The boat on board the “Lanzarote Sailing Paradise” positively closed the experience in the Spanish Cruiser Championship, which took place last weekend in Baiona, Pontevedra, after finishing in fifth position in the national competition, winning one of the three races held in the final series.

The event featured 100 sailors distributed among 18 participating crews from 12 territorial federations. On behalf of the Canary Islands, apart from the Lanzarote team, was the “Butxaca” of Joaquín Blanco, a member of the Gran Canaria Yacht Club.

Both ships managed to reach the final series, however, the aforementioned victory achieved by the “LSP” in the second race, allowed the Lanzarote team to finish in fifth position, one above the Gran Canaria crew, which finished in sixth position. The Asturian team “Bullbox” was the one that managed to win the title of Spanish champion

The crew of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife was made up of: Ye Cabrera Morales, Alejandro Morales Quintana, Jaime Rodríguez Rodríguez, Yaimur Hernández Díaz, Diego Gutiérrez Arocha and Alonso Pérez Fernández.
